A Friend Like You Written Tutorial

The card I made today features the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Poppies Suite. The Peaceful Poppies suite comes with 2 separate bundles, which are both beautiful!

The Peaceful Moments Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! comes with this suite, and offers several sentiments in a delicate font. The Peaceful Moments Designer Series paper is stunning, and only available through June 2, 2020!

This card was fairly simple to make, and can be made in several variations. For this card I used the large poppy flower stamp and the single leaf stamp from the Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, and randomly stamped the large poppy flower over a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 in. piece of paper. You can use this card for any occasion you choose.

I love the way this card turned out, and I hope you do too! Have a blessed day today!

1. Cut a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of whisper white cardstock and fold in half as your card base.

2. Cut another piece 4 x 5 1/4 piece of whisper white cardstock as the front bottom layer

for your card.

3. Cut piece of 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 piece of the green Striped Peaceful Moments DSP (Designer Series Paper) for the card band.

4. Cut a piece of 11 /4 x 5 1/4 piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock

5. Use the large single poppy flower and Tuxedo Black Ink Pad randomly stamping the flower image over the 4 x 5 1/4 piece of whisper white.

6. Use the single leaf stamp from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set and randomly stamp to fill in the open areas on the card. You can also cut a mask, by using the large poppy die included in the Painted Poppies Bundle to stamp the leaf near the flower edge as I did below. Stamp an extra Flower image, and cut it out using the coordinating die.

7. I used the Rich Razzleberry and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Markers to color the flowers, however, you can use any color you prefer. You can also leave them uncolored as well! Adhere this piece of paper to your card base.

8. Next, adhere the strip of striped DSP in the middle of the card, as a belt.

8. Stamp your sentiment on the 1 1/4 x 5 1/4 piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock with your Versamark Ink Pad and emboss using White Embossing Powder.

9. Cut the ends of the sentiment as you prefer, and adhere to the DSP as the top layer of your card.

10. Cut A leaf using the Leaf Die from the Peaceful Moments Bundle and adhere it to the left end of the sentiment. Adhere the flower on top of the leafs.

11. Embellish your card. I used the gemstones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestone kit.
