Hello all of my crafty peeps! Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my latest card for the Altenew AECP certification. I have one more Level 2 card, and I have to say I feel extremely accomplished in completing the Level 1 & Level 2 courses. I have learned so many different techniques throughout this journey, and would recommend the course to anyone interested in paper crafting! Without further ado, here she is...
This card features the Geometric Shapes stamp and die set from Altenew. I stamped the same image in different shades of Altenew Crisp Ink.
Cut a card panel 4" x 5 1/4" in white cardstock. I used Neenah Solar White 110# for this card.
Next, create a mask for your stamped image. You can stamp the image and fussy cut around on a sticky note page, or die-cut the stamped image using Altenew Masking Paper.
Grab your ruler and draw a diagonal line from corner to corner, and stamp the first image lined up on the line to create a diagonal angle on the card.
Cover the stamped image with your mask, and stamp the next image in your next color. Repeat this process until you have stamped the amount of lines you would like on your card.
Tips & Tricks
You will want to cut two different masks. One for the pink inks and the other for the blues. The ink transferred from the colors as the mask was saturated.
Use a ruler to draw a line to use for guidance when stamping.
