Happy day fellow crafters! I'm so happy that you have stopped by to say hello. I have an entire box of square envelopes, so I decided I needed some square cards to make use of the envelopes that I have.
Most of the stamps and dies from this card are from Simon Says Stamps. I am not an affiliate with Simon Says Stamps so I will link the stamps and dies that I used below. The remaining products that were used are in affiliate links below. I do get a small commission, without a charge to you. Let's get started!
The card tent is cut at 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 with the front of the card cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 in Neenah Classic Crest 110# cardstock. I used the Concord & 9th circle and stamped it with Versamark Ink to apply the WOW embossing powder.
The flowers are from the Simon Says Beautiful Mothers stamp set. I colored the flowers using Copic colors YR09, YR07, YR04, YR27, E30, E33, E34. The leaves are colored with Copic colors G20, G24, G28, and G29.
I chose two small sparrows from the Simon Says Spring Bird stamp set and colored them using Copic colors E07, E09, E40, E42, E43, T3, T4, and T9. Once I had all of the pieces colored, I placed them on the card and arranged them accordingly.
I used some terra-cotta card stock from my stash and cut it with the Simon Says Stamps Beautiful Die. I used the Mom stamp from Simon Says Beautiful Moms in Versamark Ink, and applied Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I used foam tape to adhere the front of the card to the card tent, applied sequins from Simon Says Green sequins for some sparkle. (I love the bling!)
