Hero Arts February 2021 MMH Kit

Aloha friends! My Hero Arts MMH kit arrived, and the kit this month is just phenomenal, and I've had a ton of fun with it so far! With the feel of a tropical paradise it immediately filled me with warm vibes in the middle of a snow storm!

With all of the images this stamp set includes, the possibilities are "turtley" endless! For this card I used the turtles from this months add-ons and covered them with Tim Holtz Distress Glaze.

I stamped the ocean waves on the background using my Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.

For the background on the circle, I used Tim Holtz Yupo paper, Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink (Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers). You can achieve this by placing some ink on a silicone mat, and spraying it with water. After the water has beaded you will dip your paper into the ink, and let it dry. You can add as many layers as you would like, you just need to make sure the layers dry before adding another one. Once you have added all of the ink layers you want, grab some Tim Holtz Distress glaze to seal the ink, and bring out the colors. I chose to use just a few layers of ink to keep the loose feeling of water for my turtles to swim down.

Once all of the ink was dry, I used the sand embossing powder on the bottom to add some texture and placed my turtles. I really love the way this card turned out, and hope you do as well!

For my second card, I chose to use the Hero Arts Heart shaped infinity dies. Next, I simply blended some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink (Candied Apples, Squeezed Lemonade, and Peacock Feathers) to achieve a sunset and water look.

I dried the ink with my embossing heat tool, and took some sand embossing powder to the tip of the heart. Once the embossing powder was down, I used the mountain range stamp, and stamped the heart. I added a the Tucan and stamped the sentiment. This is a very simple design to create, and perfect for anyone who just beginning in the stamping world. (Welcome!)

Here are a few more designs I came up with using this kit. I would love to know that you stopped by, so please leave a comment before you leave!
