Impressive Heat Embossing

Happy Day fellow crafters! Today I am sharing another installment of my AECP course for embossing. This class was full of wonderful ideas regarding heat embossing, and I would recommend it to everyone I know. Heat embossing was the reason I became fascinated with making greeting cards. The results are stunning no matter which technique you decide to use!

I had a different idea in mind when I finished this course, but than I received a beautiful stamp set from Altenew as a gift, and had to put it to use. Before I begin with how I made this card, I would like to thank Altenew for the wonderful stamp; I really truly love it!

I started with a card panel cut 4" x 5 1/4" in Neenah Solar White Cardstock and stamped the 1st layer of the stamp with Altenew Crisp Dye Ink Puffy Heart. I used the smaller leaf stamp and stamped it in Altenew Crisp Dye Ink Sweet Leaf.

Next, I used Versamark embossing ink Stamp Pad and stamped the 2nd layer of the flower and leaf to add the embossing powder to the ink.

The sentiment came from the Fairy Tale Rose stamp set from Altenew. I cut an oval from Altenew Nesting Oval Die Set and used some foam tape to adhere it to the front card panel. To finish this card I applied some pink crystals I had laying around in my bling stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I look forward to seeing you next time. I have one more card to create before my final, and I have enjoyed all of it!
