Irrestable Ink Techniques

Updated: Jul 1, 2021

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are having an amazing day today. Thank you so much for stopping by today and celebrating with me! What are we celebrating you ask? This is the last card assignment I have before taking my final for the first chapter of the Altenew AECP! I am SO EXCITED to be here today.

My last course was Irresistible Inking Techniques. The video contains several different techniques to use with ink, and I learned a lot from it. I decided for the final card I would make a clean and simple card with a lot of white space.

I cut a piece of dark teal card stock I had in my stash 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" as a background to hold the card front measuring 3 1/4" x 4.0". I used my Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in Dew Drops and stamped it on my white card front in the center to add a textured background.

I used the "hug" die from Altenew Script Words Die set in black and white card stock, and layered them to show a slight outline in black.

Next, I used the sentiment "Just for you" from my Altenew Sentiment Strip 2 Set and cut it down, using foam tape to adhere it and adding dimension.

Last, I used foam tape to adhere the card front to the colored card stock underneath. I had a lot of fun making this card, and you can apply this technique to make cards for any occasion.

All of the products I used are listed below with affiliate links. I make a small commission without a charge to you when you make a purchase after clicking on my link. I have purchased all of the supplies used for this card, and truly appreciate your support when using these links to shop. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope to see you again soon!
