I am so excited to complete my first AECP (Altenew Educator Certification Program) assignment "All About Layering 1". I love Altenew's floral stamps, and chose to use the Peony Bouquet for my card today.
I started by cutting a piece of white card stock measuring 4"x 5 1/4", and determined the placement of my stamps. I chose the corner of the card to place the flowers, and stamped the 4 layers using the Sweet Dreams Oval Crisp Dye Ink by Altenew.
When using the layered stamps, I made sure to use all of the techniques in the All About Layering 1 course, and I'm pretty satisfied with the way they turned out.
I used the Simply Hello Die and ran it through my die cutter 3 times, gluing the layers together to add some dimension to the sentiment on top. After placing the "hello" I simply stamped the "you are beautiful" stamp from the Anemone Outline Stamp Set below.
I placed the stamped image on a piece of fun foam and glued it down on a turquoise piece of card stock I cut for the base of my card. Last, but not least I embellished my card with Altenew Enamel dots.
